Meet Our Team
As a senior executive with more than 25 years of experience in government relations and not-for-profit management, Maryse has a thorough understanding of the government decision-making process and of the crucial elements for an effective advocacy strategy. Throughout her career she has developed distinctive skills in alliance-building, stakeholders’ relations, strategic communications, and the implementation of governance best-practices.
She has held positions as ministerial policy advisor within the federal departments of Finance, Industry, and Human Resources. She also served as Senior Vice-President of a national industry association, Director of Government Relations of a federal Crown Corporation and has most recently led the development of an emerging collaborative aerospace innovation hub.
Maryse holds a BA in Economics from McGill University, a Master’s in Business Administration from the Telfer School of Management (Ottawa), and Graduate Certificates in Values-Based Leadership and Executive Coaching, both from Royal Roads University.

Mike is a proven leader with more than 33 years of experience in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) leading and executing global combat, combat support and humanitarian operations. Mike has commanded at every level in the RCAF, culminating upon his appointment as Commander from 2015 to 2018, one of the youngest in its history. Mike has a wealth of experience in the Ottawa decision-making process and held senior executive positions in acquisition, strategic planning, international security policy, and national security – where he helped shape the Government of Canada’s response to numerous global security crises.
Mike is a graduate of Canada’s National Security Program as well as the United States Air Force Command and Staff College, and holds a master’s degree in International Relations from Auburn University and an Undergraduate Arts degree from the Royal Military College. He is the founder of the RCAF Foundation and serves on several not-for-profit boards providing governance and leadership advice.
Following command of the RCAF, Mike moved into the private sector where he helped structure and grow a privately owned energy and mining company. He now consults and provides strategic advice to clients on a range of topics, including complex innovative and disruptive technologies, government procurement, national security, operational resilience and strategy development and leadership.
